Canoeing in Banff National Park | Lake Minnewanka ASMR
Join Connor and I on our overnight paddle down Lake Minnewanka. We had calm water, beautiful sunrises, and overall a very peaceful weekend.

Goat Ridge Traverse // Kananaskis

Connor and I's first adventure in a while began at 5am in Canmore. We dropped his truck at the Jura Creek lot and headed over to the Yamnuska trailhead. The route summits six peaks over about 12km and 1500m of elevation gain. The weather stayed calm which made for an excellent day, and we finished with a lazy walk down the Jura Creek Canyon. Thar Peak North Couloir // Ski Touring on the Coquihalla
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.2 года назад
The Thar Peak North Couloir is an awesome and accessible objective on the Coquihalla Highway. We hit the skin track at 4:30am in order to make it back in time for afternoon classes. Yes, I was incredibly tired afterwards, but it was definitely worth it. Check out Liam's portfolio: liambolducphotography.myportfolio.com/

ruclips.net/video/WdJ8BcAh1g4/видео.htmlsi=Y4RH1uGLKBwwu46j. you can put something in the wide mouth to make it easy to drink from.
Wide mouth, easier to clean.
Narrow mouth, easier to drink from 🤷🏻 ;)
I would be more concerned about drinking from a Recycled Plastic container that you can't Boil water in .
Facts. Gotta keep away from those microplastics.
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yeah Stick around it might flip that car on you 🤣
🙃
How exciting is that. !! Glad you guys didn't get out . Looks like the second one had a collar on.
Def not getting out that’s for sure 😬
Damn i got the short end of the stick 😂😂 i ride in the back AND do trail clearing
😂
I think that's a grizzly? Seriously? If you knew anything about bears, you wouldn't see a black bear and a grizzly together like that.
You're mean
Your window wouldn't wind up in time if he decided to charge you.
True…
@@TheOutdoorsyDude no english!
that bear can cross the road and rip the door off your car before you could scoot to the other seat.
We got excited 🫣
CRAZY that the cars off
😬
Смелый водитель👍

Sick!!!!
(Cap cap) takes care of this issue
Yeah, but narrow is better ;)
bro good pm. were planning to hike this coming sat. and i watch your entire.video. i have couple question. were did u guys start? and how long we need a rope for rappel. thanks
Started at the Yamnuska trailhead and went from there. I remember being told that the rappel is avoidable by going around but we chose it for more fun. Had a 70m rope which was a bit excessive. There's also a low angle slab pitch thats about 20m that my buddy led but its got barely any protection I'd bring a little bit of gear.
@@TheOutdoorsyDude thanks man but this not a trad climbing right?
Thanks for the details!
Thank you for watching!
Wide mouth all day. Easier to dip water from a shallow source in the wild, toss in some purifier tablets and I'm set.
Yeah, but narrow is better ;)
@@TheOutdoorsyDude yea but go for girth firth
Young padawans on a mission 🏔️
1. Ice. 2. Wide looks cooler. Drops mic......
Yeah, but narrow is better ;)
Wide mouth is better because it's more durable and it has some extra uses like fitting my steripen. If you want a narrow mouth you can just use a smart water bottle instead.
Yeah, but narrow is better ;)
Personally if we’re just talking water. Not even ice. Just as a water bottle, the only advantage I really see with the wide mouth is it’s easier to clean in a dishwasher.
Facts. You're a gentleman and a scholar.
Perfect video. Thank you
Glad you liked it thank you for watching!
The narrow-mouth Nalgene water bottle can hold your pee, but the wide-mouth can hold your turds. ;)
Were you able to sling a horn to build your anchor for the rappel? Or how did you build your anchor? Thanks!
We found a solid anchor that was already there and saw about two or three others
@@TheOutdoorsyDude found that one myself and enjoyed fantastic conditions, what a beauty line
Cool to see a line that doesn't get a ton of "publicity" shown here. Anything else around the Coquihalla that you're interested in skiing? Looks like some pretty interesting Couloirs in the region.
100%. I live in Kelowna now so will hopefully get on some more lines this coming ski season. Let me know if theres anything you'd like to see!
Interesting how wash down jacket with gore-tex outside))
Indeed
Been using a wide mouth Pathfinder canteen lately. Just got my hands on a lovely Nalgene Oasis canteen. I generally prefer stainless steel or titanium, but this Oasis canteen is already one of my favorites. As the Switzerland of this little debate, I say both bottle types have obvious benefits. The wide mouth canteen is easier to fill up and put ice in. Cleaning wide mouths is also much easier (an important point if it’s not dishwasher safe). Drinking from wide mouth canteens while moving is much more difficult. The narrow mouth Oasis canteen is definitely easier to drink from, especially when moving. The narrow mouths on the Oasis and other narrow mouth Nalgene bottles are not as narrow as those awful disposable plastic water bottles or the USGI canteens. This makes adding ice and pouring in water a bit easier. Though I lean slightly in favor of wide mouth canteens, I will always be Switzerland in this debate, as I have found both types to be serviceable. In the name of variation, to each their own. Good little video.
I'll have to check that out
wide mouth is better because they come in so much more colours and glow in the dark! also just captures the eye.
My eye is best captured by narrow openings 😳
I found a new pair for 499.00 rn. should I do it??
If they fit nicely and you like them I say send it!
I enjoy dumping ice into my Nalgene on a hot day. Good luck with that with your bottle. Just get the widemouth, with the narrow mouth lid, so you get the best of both worlds! 🤙
Yeah, but narrow is better tho ;)
Nice video, nice mountain. Thanks for posting
Thanks for watching!
Awesome vid!!!
Thank you! Let me know if you want any other gear reviews!
hydroflask keeps you water colder longer
I just bought one and it is great
Wide mouth for the field & narrow mouth for the daily.
Hmmm interesting 🤔
Wide mouth is better. You can put in ice cubes and they're easier to clean.
But if you melt the ice first then it fits in the narrow mouth 🫣
eww socks in my water bottle ? You convinced me to get a narrow, but im still hesitant on the concept as I like aluminum double walled. Iv got quite the thing for cold water.
Aluminum is goated. Wide mouthers are weird... 🤫
35 bucks right now on Amazon
professional looking done shots
Thanks I'm definitely getting more confident with it
Wide mouths are better for adding drink powders to your water, but narrow mouths definitely seem easier to drink from. What I did was buying a new cap that screws onto the wide mouth, but has a narrow mouth opening to drink from, giving you the best of both worlds
Ahhh another imposter
hey it works well lmao
If you buy the wide mouth sipper it do not spill
If you buy the narrow mouth you don't have to but the sipper 🤷 😉
i wanna sample this in a dnb song
Go for it 😂 send me the results
As an avid viewer and someone who only wants the best for you, I feel obligated to point out at 7:44 that you incorrectly thought the past tense of “grind” is “grinded” when it is in fact “ground”. A minor mistake but a mistake nonetheless. Thanks for your understanding and wishing you continued success.
Pish posh
Great vid Will!!!
Thanks Brad!
best drone shots out of any vid on your channel
Definitely lucked out on the wind being so calm.
🐻 bear mace gorilla mace
Hell yeah
Love the effort put into the video! It was funny seeing you in the shower pouring the water out on yourself😂 definitely happens in real life
Glad you liked it!!
How many sprays can you get out of it
20 little tap puffs or about 5-6 seconds of spray if you hold it
Like 5-8 seconds depending on the size
Fun fact, the wide mouth can fit the wire wisk from a shaker bottle. Allowing you better mix protein shakes or pre workout, and better yet since its a wide mouth its way easier to clean afterwards.
Great tip! But, narrow mouth is better because it's better ;)
I prefer wide because I can put ice cubes in by the handful. The wide mouth IS more versatile if a situation needs for it, What ever that my be,.This video is kinda dumb. Wide mouth for me all day.
@@TheOutdoorsyDude wide gang > narrow gang
Haha interesting debate lol, I'm torn still🤣
Narrow is superior 💪
*Wide mouth or Narrow mouth? Well...how big is YOUR mouth?* *If you have a MEGA MOUTH like Steven Tyler, Carly Simon or Mick Jagger, obviously you need the WIDE MOUTH BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
